I have been awarded my national criminal interdiction officer certification, K-9 officer of the year for the state of Louisiana in 2018, a largest PCP seizure award in 2022 through the National Interdiction Conference, along with multiple other local, state, and national awards.
I have my Swat operator certification, hostage negotiator certification, and hundreds of hours of specialized training and certification. I have been assigned to the Rapides Area Drug Enforcement task force. I spent from 2017-2025 as the departments K-9 handler with my partner Kilo. As Chief of Police, my vision is clear: a professional, well-trained department that serves with fairness, transparency, and respect, while keeping Woodworth a safe place to live, work, and raise a family. I remain deeply committed to community-oriented policing and the safety of our community is my number one priority.
