Mayor’s Minutes – July

Woodworth, LA

As I have just celebrated my 80th birthday, I reflect on the lesson’s life has graciously taught me. Gratitude for the people and moments that enrich my days has been a cornerstone, alongside the resilience to navigate life’s inevitable challenges with a positive outlook.

Kindness and nurturing relationships with family and friends have brought immense joy and meaning to my journey. Embracing change, prioritizing self-care, and continuing to learn have kept me growing and thriving. Finding joy in the simple things and practicing forgiveness have also been sources of inner peace. Above all, discovering and nurturing a sense of purpose has given my life direction and fulfillment. These insights, gleaned over the years, are my treasures, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share them with you all.
